Just keep in mind your domain name is the center of your universe and your online identity. It is your online internet street address to your business or website. So when you choose it be sure to choose something that your website subject or niche is about make sure the words of your site is in the domain name. If your site is about cars make sure the word car is in the name if it is a certain brand be sure it is in the name.

Most Developers have a decided opinion about whether to use a WYSIWYG editor or a text editor. I prefer text editors, and only use WYSIWYG editors when pressed. Text editors are usually faster to edit HTML changes, and they don't add in unexpected tags. WYSIWYG editors are usually easier to use and don't require a knowledge of HTML. I also like text editors because they can easily support new formats like XML.

The question is? Do you generate enough pages to fork up the cash

for an expensive webpage editor? When I first approached this project my intent was to research and do a generalized report on Dating sites. They all are the same right? They look the same. They all have a free membership. You input what you are looking for on their online site database search engine and you find your perfect match.

However what I found out, much to my surprise, was that they all seemed to have the same business model of offering different social community networks to all lifestyles and aspects of life. Many of the companies reach out to the broader Internet community they cover all legal age groups including seniors. Some covering the western hemisphere and many covering all corners of the globe.

The first thing I tried to do was a Internet search engine search on all the dating sites. If you are looking for a good site I suggest you don't take that approach their are a gigantic amount of sites out there. So what I did was try to find the major ones with decent track records with minimal complaints and focus on them.

Here is the information that I have uncovered and would like to share the results with you.

Most of these sites are very effective in using existing cyber tools that are already in place online. With these Internet modes of communication they bring a group self announced single bachelor's and bachorlet's with similar confessed shared interest and views together into one socializing community.

So why are dating sites different than My space, AOL, Face book or any other Cyber community. Of course their are similarities but the other communities are for the sole purpose of socializing and not with the intent to find a soul mate or someone to make your life more complete.

It is however up in the air of wither or not these Dating Cyber communities are beneficial to society on a whole or not. One would argue that they are because they are propelling people together and giving them and opportunity to interact and to meet new and interesting people and some boring people as well.

It's simple you have to keep your eyes and ears open. Yes, unfortunately you have to read the news and keep up with current events. Why? I know I hate to read the news too. It can sometimes be so depressing. And that's just reading about Hollywood.:) Believe it or not you can find a lot of niche trends there by reading about the stars. They tend to create trends to.

Search engines cannot catalogue in detail all the information on each and every site due to the massive amounts of data online. So search engines rely on software programs called robots or spiders that are launched onto the web. Robots follow URLs from one web page to another cataloging key information about each page this information is sent back to the main search database.

Search Logs

Each and every web server maintains a set of records called logs, which provides data about the type of visitor what link they came from to get to your page etc. These logs also show if a robot or spider has been to your site. To determine whether or not your site has been visited by a search engine's robot. You can either subscribe to a Stat counter company with detailed tools that show you a log of each visit and visitor to your site. A company called Web Trends offers software that will analyze these web server logs to see if a robot has visited or not. Robots are always searching websites. If a robot visits your site there are many methods that are available to ensure that the most amount of information about your site is exchanged with the robot. Which I will discuss in other articles

Block the Robots
You can if you like also have these robots blocked. Why would anyone want to block traffic of friends or potential customers to read your blog etc. Sometimes it depends on a Company's decision or certain information that they feel should remain not publicized etc. You can block the robots by inserting blocking text. files within your html head tags also to be discussed in other articles.

Robot Submission
If a robot or spider has not investigated your site you will not be in the search database. A robot can be forced to visit your site by completing a registration form with the search engine.
